Terms and Conditions
Update: September 1, 2024
These general terms and conditions of sale (the "GTC") aim to define the conditions under which Side School SAS, registered with the Paris RCS under number 927613950, with a share capital of 1500 euros, whose registered office is located at 15 quai de l’Oise, Paris ("Side School"), offers the client (the "Client") training courses (the "Training") whose list and characteristics are described on the Side School website (the "Site").
The participant in any Training is referred to as the "Beneficiary". The Client and the Learners are collectively referred to as the "Users".
The GTC may be supplemented by the quote, the training contract and the program corresponding to the chosen Training. The GTC and the quote or the program together constitute the professional training agreement.
The GTC are accessible and printable at any time via a direct link on the homepage of the Site.
Training Program
The detailed description of the training program and the trainer, as well as details on the required prior knowledge before starting the training, are provided in the Program - document available on the website and upon request via email.
Payment Terms
The Client makes a payment for a Training via one of the payment methods offered by Side School.
For any offline registration (via sending a quote), the payment can be made by bank transfer to the Side School bank account mentioned on the invoice.
For any online registration, the payment can be made by credit card. For any credit card payment, Side School uses the payment provider Stripe Technology Europe, Limited, authorized as an electronic money institution by the Central Bank of Ireland under reference C187865, for managing and processing financial transactions.
The Client directly contracts with the payment provider concerning the financial transaction, which they acknowledge and accept. None of the data related to the Client's credit or bank accounts is processed by Side School and is never known to it. The banking information is subject to automated data processing for which the payment provider is responsible. The information collected includes:
The buyer’s identification data,
Details related to the payment method (payment card number or RIB),
The purchase amount,
The purchase date.
The payment terms and deadlines are specified in the Training Contract when the Client is the Beneficiary (an individual) and in the Quote when the Client is not the Beneficiary (in the case of a company purchasing training for its employees)
Withdrawal Period
From the date of signing the Training Contract or acceptance of the quote, the Client has a fourteen-day period to withdraw. The Client wishing to withdraw informs the training organization by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or by email at contact@side.school. In this case, no fee can be charged to the trainee.
The Client waives this withdrawal period when the Beneficiary begins the training and consumes its content.
Educational and Technical Means Implemented
Refer to the detailed Training Program outlining the means implemented to technically conduct the action, monitor its execution, and assess its results. Monitoring the execution of the training is done online using digital tracking techniques that serve as an attendance sheet.
Non-Performance of the Training Service
If the training service is not fully or partially completed, Side School must refund the Client for any sums unduly received as a result.
Compensation, Repair, or Termination
If the Beneficiary is prevented from attending the training due to duly recognized force majeure, the contract or the professional training agreement is terminated. In this case, only the services effectively provided are due prorated to their contractual or agreement value.
Intellectual Property
The content provided during the training remains the property of Side School. Any reproduction or distribution is prohibited without authorization.
Disputes
If a dispute or disagreement cannot be settled amicably, the Paris Court will have sole jurisdiction to settle the dispute.
